Now there's a slanted site for ya.
They are all slanted, don't you think? It depends on your moral stance in life. However, the documentation is valid. The numbers are verifiable. It's how you perceive the information. Science supports the humanness of our unborn. The PC always try to wiggle out of debating this fact, and in my opinion are delusional in trying to make themselves think it is not human. They will only admit to this fact when pushed against the wall, or when they run out of PC propaganda sound bites to throw at you. Then they will tell you they don't care, because it's "their body", which is not scientifically sound. Just my opinion.

They are all slanted, don't you think? It depends on your moral stance in life.

I do...and it does. However...regardless of your stance, accuracy is a must. Claiming, for instance, that maternal mortality has droped to 8 per 100k is not only inaccurate, but disengenuous. The mortality rate fluctuates quite a bit. Last year it was 12. The year before it was 7.

A cause can't be righteous if it's wrong.

You see, that's the problem. Maternal mortality has dropped. Why do you think this is inaccurate? Of course it fluctuates from year to year, just as birth and abortion numbers fluctuate. And why does the CDC include other causes of maternal death, not related to carrying a baby full term in it's figures? I would say that is more than disingenuous, that is a clear sign of smoke and mirrors on the part of an organization well known to support abortion. Since the CDC relies on the figures reported from abortion clinics, what makes you think the abortion industry, who gets it's bread and butter from terminating pregnancy, would be honest in it's reporting? And since we are talking about honesty, why does the PC recoil when presented with graphic pictures of aborted fetuses? Why won't they allow posting those pictures on their forum boards, if they want to be open, honest and truthful with the public? Besides all the rhetoric regarding numbers and graphs, it boils down to the fact that destroying a human being just because you can, and then trying to justify it with self serving ideology is dangerous. Humanity must step back and look at the whole picture. PC has tunnel vision. Abortion has not alleviated one single human ailment it was proposed to alleviate.
To continue, Even though a singular woman may feel she has relieved the burden of caring for or rearing a child, the effect on society as a whole has been detrimental. A society cannot expect their regard for all human life to remain intact, when one segment of individuals from that same society is regarded as non-human, or non deserving of protection and respect for their right to be born. The effect on women psychologically, especially for those who have never known a world before RoeVsWade, has created a generation of women who have inner turmoil regarding their own femininity. It's easy for PC women to scream about their "rights" to abort their children, since they have already been granted the right to live by their own mothers. We don't own our children. We are given them for a short while to nurture, direct and counsel until they can do so on their own. The idea that we own the life inside of our bodies, or after birth is an illusion. Dangerous is the philosophy that gives any individual full sovereign power to choose a death penalty for any individual without a voice, or the mental capacity to defend their own right to live. Responsibility for human kind lies with every individual who is human, not exclusively for an individual who carries that life.
[this is good]
Your argument or rather reasoning is perfect. No one can argue with

"It's easy for PC women to scream about their "rights" to abort their children, since they have already been granted the right to live by their own mothers"

and then...

'"Dangerous is the philosophy that gives any individual full sovereign power to choose a death penalty for any individual without a voice, or the mental capacity to defend their own right to live."

I will have to remember these truths for quoting, for abortion seems to always be brought up when I'm in certain groups of women.

The sad thing is, they will try to argue it with illogical and circular thinking, and an arsenal of pro choice sound bites that have nothing to do with the original premise of the argument.
Today one of my friends was telling me about a lady who runs Crossroads, an alternative to abortion organization. He said she was in tears this morning because yesterday a couple came in looking for an abortion. She talked with them about abortion and she also showed them a DVD on abortion. The couple actually told her to turn it off, they didn't want to see it, they wanted an abortion and that was final. Of course they left to seek to have an abortion.

So this couple actually wanted to stay in ignorance and I pondered that. I think the people who want to stay in ignorance are the ones who also think when they stand before God they can say, "I didn't know" which of course we know that will not stand, but they think it will.
Yes, I agree with that. They really wanted to abort their child, and nothing or
nobody was going to stand in their way. They didn't want to fully understand what they were about to do. It's really sad to think that they must have known their hearts might be softened if they saw the reality of who they were destroying. But they did it anyway. We think. Maybe they didn't. They told her to turn it off, so maybe they already saw enough to touch their hearts. I pray that is the case. There was a reason they ended up at Crossroads. I hope they changed their minds. They will live with it the rest of their lives, and beyond.
I talked with Linda today and she said the girl (from above) called her and then her boyfriend was coming in and she had to hang up. I'm on call for counseling. Linda said the girl was crying. I hope it's not an after effect.
Maybe she is fighting with the boyfriend about having it done after all? Were you able to discern if the couple actually had the abortion? I hope not. If she is crying and she called Linda, then there is awful turmoil, one way or the other. The poor girl. I pray she didn't go through with it. It sounds like she is afraid of what the boyfriend will think. I will pray for them both, right now.
Gone to get my modem switched out-be back in 15 min. Please keep me updated. (Praying all the way)
I have not talked with her yet. I agree she is in turmoil about this action. I pray to that she will not follow through with the abortion and also that God will give her grace in her boyfriends heart.
God is speaking to his heart already, I believe. But will he listen?
Thanks for posting this linki. I am proud that OptionLink is based right here in my own - Columbus, OH.
